PH Companions was formed and established in 1997 by partners Dee Pfeiffer and Al Hall. Our Chief Executive Officer, Al Hall is a Pastor and works in hospital Pastoral Care and provides Social Services to his patients. Our Administrator, Dee Pfeiffer, worked with physician offices and hospitals providing finance, billing, and business support services. Together, they identified a growing need at that time, in our community for a companion service that offered commitment, compassion and quality. They definitely put their talents to good use in our community in 1997.

In 2015, after 18 years of successful operations as a company, PH Companions again identified the needs of our clients and the trend for “aging in place” with dignity. They became licensed by the State of Florida as a Home Health Agency.

Through this expansion of services, PH Companions of Pinellas, LLC. is able to meet the growing needs of clients and families. Dawn Mitchell, RN,BSN, Certified Case Manager, is our Director of Nursing and leads our quality care team.

Our policy and procedures follow JCAHO Guidelines and we are in the process of working towards accreditation. We offer the services of our Health Care Consultants and are very proud of our staff members - many of whom have been with us for over 10 years.
